Welcome to the Digital Photography Courses Newsletter for October 2011.

Sorry for the late arrival of this newsletter but it's been a really busy couple of month's. Following the Night Photography Course on 23rd October we are down to our final beginner's courses for this year on 12th & 13th November. I won't be putting my feet though as I'll be running 121 courses and an Intensive Course. We are already planning new courses for next year and we are always open to suggestions so if you have something in mind let me know and I'll see if there is enough other people interested to make it worthwhile. So far we are looking at an action photography course, a day aimed at photography birds of prey in flight and a 121 Creative Flash Light Course using off camera multiple flashguns.

Refresher Courses

We very occasionally get last minute spaces on a beginners course and these can be taken as a refresher course for £75 by anyone who has already attended a beginners course or the AWBC course. If you wish to be notified when one of these spaces become available email me at glen@digitalphotographycourses.co.uk and I'll add your name to the list.

Upload your pictures to the Facebook group.

It's nice to see new students upload their images to the Facebook Group but it would be great to see even more. Please do not think your images are not good enough as we are all here to learn and with the support of the group your photography will soon be receiving rave reviews.

How to upload you pictures to the Digital Photography Facebook Group. Ask to join the group by clicking here www.facebook.com/groups/180343352037717 First edit your picture in Picasa then choose the Export command from the bottom of the screen Choose to Save the file on the desktop. Move the size slider to 800 pixels and add a watermark with your name and then choose OK Now go to Facebook and click on the "Add Photo" link at the top of the page. Choose “Upload a photo” and use the Browse button to navigate to the image folder on the desktop. Click on your chosen picture and add some text to the post and click on “Post” All done
